I can't even begin to describe what an amazing restaurant filled with fantastic people, Pasqualino truly is, but I'll try.
My mother and I came to Rome and as it was our first time, we didn't really know where to go to eat. Our hotel was around the Colosseum so as we walked around, we stumbled upon this place where we were greeted with smiles. When we ordered our penne, we asked for it to be so spicy that we'd cry and they made our pasta spicy without even asking any questions. The food was delicious. So good that we came back later that evening for dinner and had the Spaghetti w/Chicken and Cacio e Pepe. INCREDIBLE. My mother and I came here everyday of our trip and we were treated like family by the absolutely AMAZING group of people that worked there. They gave us the spiciest food, treated us to karaoke and dancing and let us know we were welcomed anytime we were back in Rome.
Guys, if you're going to Rome, please head to Pasqualino. They're amazing food and friendly faces that feel like family just can't be beat!
Much love from New York! -

Great little outside bar ontop of a hotel sitting on the Piazza di Spagna and Spanish steps. We just stopped in for water, beer and small pizza to hold us over. They are on the pricey side, pizza was just average and the beers were in tiny glasses but the views were awesome.

We had linguine with clams and pappardelle with wild boar which we loved. Fun atmosphere, waiters and host were all super nice which made everything even better.

Our waitress was wonderful. She was attentive, polite, and super helpful. Spoke pretty well in English, too.
The 'house wine' was excellent. Wasn't truly a house wine, but one from the region called Castelli Romani. You have to try it!
** For an appetizer, try the mozzarella with tomatoes and olives. So incredible. **
The gilthead (Orata) with potatoes was excellent. One of the servers came out and de-boned the fish - interesting to see. The combination of the sliced potatoes, olives and tomatoes was amazing.
The fish risotto was good too.
** The must have entrees here are the Linguine al Salmone & Fettuccini with mushrooms. Absolutely amazing. **
The tiramisu was wonderful. Bottom had pieces of chocolate which added great texture and a nice surprise at the end.
** Their cheesecake is amazing. I'm not one for cheesecake, but this is on another level good. **
Cute place. Love eating outside, especially at night. Rome is so magical when it's dark out.
